Gentlemen:

\JWill you please remove my name from the mailing list for the
Yorktown IBM Club News.

This publication was formerly sent to me addressed to
Stanfore, Conn. Such a town does not exist but the Post Office, in
an effort to satisfy, first sent the mail to Stamford, Conn., from there it
was forwarded to Stanford, Calif., where it was forwarded to
my old Palo Alto address and it finally arrived at my current address
with postage due for forwarding.

You have recently corrected your mailing list so that it is now has
Stanford, Calif. as the location but unfortunately I have moved 3
times since living there and so the old forwarding routine continues.
Fortunately, you are now sending the News by First Class mail so I no
longer have to pay forwarding charges.

This would still be bad were I interested in the Club News, as it
arrives many days late, but I have really very little use for
information about happenings 2500 miles away. So please remove my
name from this mailing list.

If it will be of any help, I am a retired IBMer with a man number of
480480. My business address is Computer Science Dept., Stanford
University, Stanford, Calif. 94305 and my home address is as shown
in the letter head.\.
